IPL 2024: Most important weapons for each team

IPL 2024 best players for each team

IPL 2024 best players for each team: IPL 2024, as expected, has managed to produce thrillers each day so far with all the teams trying hard to earn those 2 points.

The important factor, however, is each franchise has a key player around whom the whole game revolves. Here, in this article we will look at the most important weapons for each IPL team.

GT – Mohit Sharma

The medium fast bowler is delivering the same for GT like Dwayne Bravo used to do for Dhoni’s CSK during death overs. Sharma was the second highest wicket-taker in IPL 2023. And his variation skills create a challenging environment for batters’ time at crease. Many times, his quality bowling restricted opponents from scoring big scores.

LSG – KL Rahul

KL Rahul has been the standout performer for his franchises in five of the last six seasons with 500 plus runs. He missed some action last edition due to injury, but the LSG fans know that if there is one man who can gift them a title, it is KL Rahul.

RR – Jos Buttler

Buttler won the orange cap in IPL 2022 after smashing 863 runs and played a big role in guiding Rajasthan to the finale. They, failed to win the title that time, but Buttler out to act in a similar fashion to boost Rajasthan chances of winning the crown this time.

CSK – MS Dhoni

Dhoni has handed over the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad, but everyone knows if Dhoni is on the field, only MS runs the game!

MI – Jasprit Bumrah

Every team has to plan a bit extra if Bumrah is there in the opponent team. Bumrah is undoubtably the backbone of team Mumbai and he performed exactly the same manner in MI’s opening game this season with a 4-0-14-3.

PBKS – Sam Curran

Curran is Punjab’s highest paid player, and the team depends lot on his service. He, however, failed to deliver last season, but the English man started this season with a player of the match, he is the biggest weapon for the Kings, and Curran needs to play his best in order to drive their side to their first IPL title.

DC – David Warner

Warner is not just the third-highest run-scorer in the league, but also the only overseas batter in the top-5 list.

The southpaw struck the most runs for the franchise last season with 515 runs, and his contribution will play a big role in Delhi’s campaign to playoffs.

SRH – Heinrich Klaasen

Eden Gardens witnessed the Klaasen show in SRH’s first game itself, and the SRH fans know that if their team needs to chase big totals, Klaasen is their man.

Klaasen’s 29-ball 63 against Kolkata Knight Riders was the trailer of his power-hitting abilities.

KKR – Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh’s does not reflect his caliber, had he participated in the auction he could have fetched the highest cost in history, and that’s all he earned in just a year.

He hit those 5 sixes when the team needed 29 off the final over against Gujarat Titans, and he hasn’t looked back since, performing in nearly every game for KKR.

RCB – Virat Kohli

No one can ignore the modern-day master if he is participating in any competition. With many beliefs he no longer fits in T20s team, Kohli once again proved all wrong with his strong 77-run knock against Punjab Kings that earned him the player of the match award and the orange cap.

Kohli, the top run-scorer in the league, is an assest to any team, and RCB is fortunate to have a player like Kohli on their side.
