Anderson has appeared in all 3Tests so far, and head coach Chris Silverwood may decide to rest his star bowler. Earlier in the post-match news conference, India captain Virat Kohli suggested that he may try to rest his bowlers in order to manage their workload, which might imply that a few bowlers could be sidelined in the following 2 games.

“These guys are giving everything, every day when we are out on the field and we have got to make sure we are looking after them. But I won’t be making any decisions or judgments right now,” he added.
