Ravi Shastri Posts Pictures With The Best He Played Against

Ravi Shastri’s Sneak Peak Into Past:

Ravi Shastri, Team India’s head coach, made a trip down the memory lane Saturday as he shared a few nostalgic photos of himself with his “brothers in arms.” Ravi Shastri shared pictures of the throwback with former Greats Malcolm Marshall and Viv Richards from the West Indies. “Brothers in arms. The best I played against. Privilege and honour – with Malcolm Denzil Marshall and Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards @ivivianrichards,” Ravi Shastri captioned the image on Twitter.

The best batsman of his age was Viv Richards. Richards played 121 Tests for the West Indies and 187 One-Day Internationals. Antigua’s hard-hitting batsman scored 8540 runs in the game’s longest format, and 6721 runs in the limited overs format.
At the other hand, Malcolm Marshall was one of the most frightening fast-bowlers ever to play the game.
Marshall has picked up 376 Test wickets in 81 appearances for his country during his 13-year long career. He has managed to catch 157 scalps in ODIs.
Shastri was part of India’s successful 1983 World Cup campaign and he took over the reigns of Anil Kumble to become the team’s head coach after representing the country for 11 years.
Shastri helped the team register their win of the maiden Test series in Australia in 2018.
India went for the first time in 71 years to beat Australia 2-1 on its home soil in the four-match series.

Coronavirus Brings The Complete Cricket Fraternity To Halt:

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, all the cricket boards across the globe were forced to call off all the cricket leagues, as soon as the health bodies issued advisory that, mass gatherings can trigger the coronavirus infection. Not only this, the BCCI is now looking for October November window to conduct 13th edition of IPL 2020 tournament. In a recet interaction with media, BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly said, if at all the tournament takes place it would be truncated affair.
All the cricketers have been using the time productively. Some were seen spending productive time with their families on the other some were seen rejuvenating themselves from their hectic schedule. The best part about all these activities was that, whatever the players have been doing, they have been sharing with the world at large.
