Ellyse Perry Reponds To Murali Vijay’s Wish Of Taking Her Out

Since COVID-19 spreads across the world, cricket stars turn on Twitter and Instagram to connect to the fans. The pandemic halted the world’s sporting climate, and the much-anticipated IPL 2020 postponed to address the spread of coronavirus indefinitely. Video interviews with several IPL franchise players are therefore coming to give fans some entertainment.

Murali Vijay recently also took part in an interview with Chennai Super Kings, his Indian Premier League franchise. During the interview, the right-hander answered a variety of questions, along with revealing instances of his cricket and isolation life. One of Vijay’s answers, however, shocked his fans the most and raised a lot of eyebrows.

Vijay’s first named his friend and teammate, Shikhar Dhawan, was chosen when two cricketers were asked to be called for success. It’s the second name. However, that caught most of the headlines. Vijay has chosen the Australian Woman Stalwart Ellyse Perry as his second name. The choice of Vijay Perry’s name attracted the attention of many fans because they didn’t expect the batsman to reveal her name.

Ellyse Perry,” he said. I want dinner with her. She’s very beautiful. And Shikhar Dhawan any day. He’s a nice guy. He is speaking Hindi and I’m speaking in Tamil,” Vijay said.

Recently, in an Instagram Live session with Ridhima Pathak, Ellyse Perry has finally responded to Vijay’s statement. Perry, unknown about Vijay’s choosing her name, was told about Ridhima Pathak’s situation. Perry replied funnily and said she hoped Vijay would pay the bill.

Perry hilariously replied by saying– “I hope he’s paying. That’s very kind of him. I’m flattered.”

During the live Instagram, Perry also stated that Australia Women might be the first side to move back on the field after coronavirus subsides. Perry claimed that either the Australian Women’s League or the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) could be in the line to restart cricket play soon. However, at the moment, it all depends on how the outbreak of COVID-19 happens in various countries.
