Pakistan Pacer Imitates Australia Player Batting Style

Cricketers have become active on social media amid the lockdown in all over the world. Some are interacting with fans, and some are raising awareness, others are giving interviews during live seasons. In the meantime, Pakistan’s young prodigy Nasim Shah has found a unique way to spend his time while in quarantine. Recently a hilarious clip has gone viral in which we can see him mimicking the batting style of none other than former Aussie captain Steve Smith.

The 17-year-old fast bowler from Men in Green has hogged the spotlight with his brilliant bowling. However, he did not make a great start to his international career. He made his Test debut against Australia in a three-match Test series in which he struggled to pick up wickets. But, he also showed some glimpses of his ability at the same time. He then took five wickets against Sri Lanka. Earlier this year, he took a hat-trick against Bangladesh, and he was the youngest player to achieve that milestone in the history of Test cricket.

However, it looks like when he was in Australia, the 17-year-old bowler may have noticed Smith closely enough that he could mimic his batting stance next to perfection. Recently, a clip went viral on the social media, in which Naseem Shah was spotted batting in the style of Smith.

The 17-year-old was seen holding the bat in his hand with a high backlift. He was in full control of dropping the ball, and his defense looked like Smith’s. Now, it will be interesting to see whether former Aussies captain Naseem Shah‘s batting skills will be rated in the coming days.

The 30-year-old Aussie batsman has established himself as a world-class batsman because of his run-scoring ability. But, he often comes to light due to his batting stance and his ability to leave the ball outside the stump.
