Mayank Agarwal’s Debatable Dismissal
On the third day of the first Test in the ongoing Test series between India and New Zealand, which is going-on in Wellington, New Zealand. The opening batsman of India, Mayank Agarwal’s dismissal became a questionable topic, especially for the Indian fans. When Agrawal asked for a review of his dismissal, it created a debate among the cricket fans on the twitter platform.
During the 39th over on the fourth delivery, Mayank’s dismissal happened exactly when he tried to hit the ball that Tim Southee delivered. Agrawal gave an attempt to hit the ball even if the ball went outside the leg stump. Exactly at that moment, the New Zealand wicket-keeper, B J Watling dismissed Mayank.
Fluctuation In The Snicko
With all the New Zealand fielders shouting all at once. Umpire Aleem Dar did not take any time to declare that Agarwal was out. After the constant insistence of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Agarwal appealed for a review and it was found that there was no contact of the bat with the ball.

There might have been a different result if there possessed no tiny edge displayed on the Snicko. There was also another factor in favor of Bowlers making things hard for Agarwal.

Mayank Agarwal was not out. The ball had gone past the bat. The nick spotted from the wicket keeper's view might be the bat hitting the ground. India is not playing shots not moving forward.
