KL Rahul Auctions His Bat To Raise Funds

KL Rahul Donates Nearly Rs 8 Lakh:

KL Rahul has recently decided to raise money for underprivileged. For this, he donated his cricket pads, gloves, helmet, and some of his jerseys, as well as the World Cup bat for 2019, for auction. Rahul served with a collaborator in the Bharat Army.

These items will be auctioned off, and the proceeds will go into the Aware Foundation. The foundation aims to support children. Rahul said, “It’s really rare to do this, and I couldn’t choose a better day.”

KL Rahul has auctioned the bat for Rs 2,64,228 which he used in the 2019 World Cup. He also auctioned with his company Gully a selection of other sporting things to help vulnerable children during the latest coronavirus pandemic, with the proceeds going to the “Aware Foundation

His helmet, which he sold for Rs 1,22,677, his pads for Rs 33,028, his ODI jersey for Rs 1,13,240, his T20 jersey for Rs 1,04,824, his Test jersey for Rs 1,32,774 and his gloves for Rs 28,782 and other memorable stuff which were auctioned.

I Guess That’s What This Time Is Teaching All of Us:

Rahul has remained at home, as many cricketers and sportsmen, because of the coronavirus pandemic. This took a break in play to several of the world’s big sports. Rahul is the captain of the Kings XI Punjab franchise for the 2020 IPL season. Somehow they have canceled the tournament due to the Lockdown.

Speaking on how he’s spending his time in the lockdown, Rahul said: “I’m staying home in Bangalore with my family. We are all safe and healthy. I am using my tone to train myself and staying active, I’m just trying to do everything I am able to do. I haven’t really been or didn’t get to a point where it’s uncomfortable, I’m hanging in there!”

“So yeah, it’s pretty good to spend time at home with family, because while all the players were playing (the team) for too long like 8 hours 10 hours continuously. We just want to have a break, so now that we have such a huge break. but we’re like we don’t want such a big break like that” said Rahul.

Further adding Rahu said, “I think that’s what all of us are doing this moment; the important stuff of life, the value of staying safe, and having family time. After a long time, I got a chance to spend my birthday with my family, and that felt very lucky.”
