Who Bowled the fastest Bowl in the IPL History

One of the quickest bowlers in his era Shaun Tait. With his sheer speed and bounce, he could unleash lightning strikes that would jolt the batters. Tait’s IPL career was not bad.

He played a total of 21 games for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) over the course of four seasons (2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013). Over these four years, he finished with 23 wickets.

He recorded the quickest delivery in IPL history in 2011. Aaron Finch, who was then playing for the Delhi Daredevils (now the Delhi Capitals), received a 157.7 kmph delivery from Tait.

Even ten years later, the former Australian fast bowler continues to hold the IPL record for the ball that travels the fastest.

The Art of Fast Bowling

The physical discipline of quick bowling is one of the most unnatural activities for the human body overall. Despite the fact that it is exhilarating to watch a pace bowler run in with bags of talent, intent, and nous trying to execute plans and deliveries over the course of a match to dismiss batsmen, this fact shouldn’t be overlooked.

Long periods of continuous bowling can cause the body to experience excessive strain in several body parts. Mainly the lower back, sides (abdominal strains), shoulders (mobility and movement), and ankles (sprained or injured).

This is because of the explosive motion at the point of ball release and the heavy landing that occurs when a bowler follows through to complete their delivery, which frequently results in foot problems.
