IPL Auction 2020: All Eyes On These 3 Key All-Rounders

The IPL (Indian Premier League), which has a worldwide following, was founded by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) in 2008. The IPL 2020 is scheduled to be held March and April.

An IPL auction, which was held in 2019, had released 3 all-rounder players. They are Colin de Grandhomme, Chris Morris, and Sam Curran

1. Colin de Grandhomme:

He is a new all-rounder player released by RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore). In his IPL career of 25 matches, Grandhomme scored 303 runs with a high score of 40 runs in 2019. The New Zealander scored 46 runs in 4 matches with an average of 18.93 and a strike rate of 134.66. In bowling, he took 6 wickets with an average of 8.86 and a strike rate of 36.00.

He plays like a superstar in T-20s where he scored 3294 runs in 194 matches with an average of 162. Despite his abilities with bat and ball, he, somehow, has not yet performed at his best in the IPL.

Morris is a South African all-rounder who was released by DC (Delhi capitals) in 2019 auction. In his IPL career, he played 61 matches, scoring 517 runs with an average of 27.21 and a strike rate of 157.62. His highest score is 82.

With the ball, Morris took 69 wickets at an average of 24.76 and a strike rate of 15.23. Although he played a key role in the Delhi Capitals team, he has been retained by CSK (Chennai super kings).

Curran is a young talented player from England. He played a key role in the last Test match against India. He was picked up by Kings XI Punjab in his debut IPL season in the year 2019. He played 9 matches and scored 95 runs with an average of 23.75 and a strike rate of 172.72. His best score in IPL is 55. He took 10 wickets at an average of 9.78 and a strike rate of 19.80

He was named as the breakout star of 2018 and Kings XI Punjab bought him for Rs 7.2 crores.
