The former Australian cricketer Ian Chappell said Steve Smith and David Warner were going to play an important role late this year during India’s Down Under tour. Currently, Smith is the Test Batsman number one. He has recently fought for the top spot along with Kohli. Kohli was the helm while Smith was in the suspension. Smith, however, returned to Ashes in 2019. Warner did not have the biggest return at Ashes, on the other hand.
But in Adelaide, at the end of three centuries, he succeeded in winning form against Pakistan. Both batters have encountered significant success in the face of the Indian bowling attack. In their earlier series, Steve and Warner also had centuries against India, although it was the ODI format.
