Brett Lee Says Saliva Ban Won’t Matter With Kookaburra Balls

Former Australian pacemaker Brett Lee said the saliva ban doesn’t apply when matches are played with the Kookaburra ball, because it doesn’t swing much. The International Cricket Council ( ICC) has recently prohibited the use of saliva on the ball as a precautionary measure against COVID-19, and several former players have proposed using alternatives on the ball to make the match between the bat and the ball more equal. The former Australian pacer also said that the reverse swing is not going to come into play much because of the saliva ban.
