Bharat Arun Recommends Six To Eight Weeks Training Camp For Team India

Bharat Arun, the Indian cricket team’s bowling coach, thinks the national players require six to eight weeks of training before they can move into international cricket. At present, because of the coronavirus outbreak, the cricketers spend their time at their home. They were supposed to play the IPL, which put off for an indefinite period.

Later, the Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) stated that it was preparing to hold an outdoor skills training camp for men’s cricketers on May 18. But the plan had to be canceled, and the wealthiest cricket board in the world said that no camp would take place before May 31, before the fourth phase of the lockdown finished.

It may be boring: Bharat Arun.

“It can be tough for a professional cricketer to be stuck at home doing nothing. Not being able to extend energy is like a curse. It can be dull, and it can be highly monotonous. But there’s no alternative, and hence it’s a problem that needs to be tackled, “Arun said in an interview.

“The team’s ownership has recognized that cricketers need six to eight weeks of camp to do this high-level training and optimum skill-based program before they get out to play international cricket,” he said.

Arun also said that Indian speedster Mohammed Shami has been in regular contact with him over the last few days. The Bengal bowler is a part of Team India in all 3 formats.

“He keeps sending me video clips, and I’m always talking to him, inspiring him,” Tu bas aise hi karte reh lesson. Tera Ek dho saal aur carrière mein add ho jayega (just keep your bowling/practicing like this. You ‘re going to add a year or two to your career going forward, “he said.

Apart from the IPL, India’s ODIs against South Africa also had to be canceled after the Dharamsala wash-out match. They are scheduled for a tour of Sri Lanka in July that has not been postponed for the time being. Later this year, India is also scheduled to play the T20 World Cup followed by a bilateral series on Australian soil.
