Afghan Cricket Fan Finds It Hard to To Get Accommodation in Lucknow Due to ‘Height’ Issues

The series between Afghanistan and the West Indies will start at Lucknow on Wednesday. This series has caught the eyeballs of many cricket fans as well as an Afghani fan who failed to get accommodation due to his height.

His name is Sher Khan, and his height is 8 feet 2 inches. He has struggled for almost 2 days to find accommodation in Lucknow. He has been moving from one hotel to another and every hotel property owner denied giving him accommodation because of his height and appearance.

After all efforts, Khan has finally decided to take the help of the local Naka police station. The officers have verified his documents and helped him find a place for his stay in Lucknow.

After a gap of 30 years, ODI matches are being played in the Uttar Pradesh’s state capital. The last ODI was played in Lucknow was in the year 1989, which was between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the KD Singh Babu Stadium.
