AB de Villiers has entered the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) camp for the 2nd leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will begin on September 19, 2021, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Here is AB De Villiers Joins The RCB.

AB de Villiers confirmed his arrival in the UAE on Social media. He also claimed that the Emirates services and staff were very kind and, that he was received a warm welcome at the airport.

The batting legend also mentioned that his journey to the UAE was enjoyable and that he will be going to look forward to an interesting 6 weeks in the IPL.

“From the friendly emirates staff to the amazing welcome at the jathersort, all in all, a very pleasant trip to the UAE. Exciting 6 weeks ahead. And not a bad view from our room,” commented de Villiers in an Instagram post.


In the era of IPL cricket, AB de Villiers will be remembered as one of the finest batsmen. The 37-year-old cricketing monster has amassed 5056 runs at an avg of 40.77 and a fantastic strike rate of 152.38 in the IPL.

In IPL cricket, the right-handed batting great has 40 half-centuries and 3 centuries. In the 1st half of the 2021 season of the IPL, AB de Villiers was also in excellent form.

De Villiers made 207 runs in six innings, with an avg of 51.75 and a strike rate of 164.29. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team is presently in the third position in the standings, having won five of the seven matches they have played so far in the league.
