UP-W vs DEL-W Match Highlights: WOW, what a game it has been and a wonderful end to the group stages of the inaugural edition of the TATA WPL 2023. Delhi Capitals after defeating UP women by XX runs to reclaim the top stop and qualify for the finals.
Delhi Women’s have shown in recent games that they have a talented squad with high skills in their players, which eventually helped them to finish the group stages in the top spot.
UP-W vs DEL-W: Early On in the Innings
The spinners got good purchases from the surface and foxed the batters on numerous occasions. Skipper Alyssa Healy started pretty well with 4 fours and 1 six but her innings did not last long as she was dismissed for 36 runs by Alice Capsey in the 10 over. Wickets were falling at regular intervals and things were getting difficult for UP to get back into the game.
Alice Capsey picked up three wickets, where Radha Yadav picked up two wickets and Jonassen took a wicket to restrict UP-W to 138 in 20 overs.

After Sehrawat’s impressive opening performance, which gave UP a respectable start, Healy and Simran found it difficult to keep up their momentum. The Delhi bowlers were consistent with their lengths and lines and kept things close.
Tahlia McGrath once again displayed her bravery by scoring a key fifty in the match that determined the tournament’s outcome. In order to enable UP Wariorrz set up a manageable total against a very powerful batting team from Delhi, Tahlia McGrath struck 58* runs from 32 balls.
Healy made an effort to force the matter but was unsuccessful in breaking free of the bonds. McGrath first took her time setting up her inning.
UP-W vs DEL-W: Same as batting UP struggled with the ball too
UP Warriorz after a poor batting performance, had a little hope thanks to Tahlia McGrath but things did not go as planned with the ball. Delhi Capitals chased down the target inside XX overs to reclaim the top spot.

Delhi Capitals women will now play the final of the TATA WPL 2023 against the winner of Mumbai Indian women and UP Warriors women on 26th March Sunday at 7:30 PM.
