3. Rohit Sharma’s 94 masterclass

Mumbai faced a worst start after being invited to bat first in the 14th match of the 2018 IPL season at Wankhede.

The home side lost their 2 wickets in the first 2 balls of the game, and RCB imaging to limit MI as low score as possible.

But the skipper Rohit Sharma and Evin Lewis had different plans in mind. Both did a fantastic partnership of 108 runs in 66 balls before Lewis went back for 65.

Rohit stood tall at one end and keep on guiding the side with his effortless batting, having reached 94 in only 51 balls, Sharma was required to hit 6 runs in the final 2 balls of the innings, and he smoked the ball towards long on where Chris Woakes made no mistake and the skipper had to go back at 94, but his knock guided MI to a solid 213.

RCB failed to chase the target and lost that game by 46 runs.

2. Ab de Villiers breathtaking ton

It was the summer of 2015 that witnessed the ABD storm at Wankhede. Opted to bat, RCB lost their first wicket in the form of Chris Gayle at 20 in 3.1 overs.

But what came next totally blew away everyone’s minds, as Ab de Villiers and Virat Kohli, were seen in a most flawless fashion in the match 46th of IPL 2015.

ABD completed his ton in no time and went on to play a knock of 133 not out off just 59 balls. Interestingly he hit only 4 maximums but 19 fours.

Virat Kohli not only enjoyed his innings from one end but also played a knock of 82* in 50 to help RCB post a big total of 235 in 20 overs.

Mumbai Indians tried their best to reduce the gap, but they fell short by 39 runs.

The number 10 match of IPL 2020 played in Dubai was another high-scoring bonanza between the two sides. The game was a complete thriller, and the result of this clash came out only after a super over.

Opting to bat RCB started strongly and posted 201 in 20 overs, thanks to openers Padikkal’s 54, Finch’s 52 steady knocks, Ab de Villiers 24-ball 55* and Dube’s 10-ball 27* finishing wizardry.
