TNPL 2023 Schedule: The stage is set for yet another thrilling season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League, starting June 12.
The TNPL 2023 will consist of 32 matches, beginning on June 12 and concluding on July 12. T Natarajan, Varun Chakravarthy, Shahrukh Khan, B Sai Sudharsan, Sandeep Warrior, and Vijay Shankar are among the top Indian players set to compete in the Tamil Nadu Premier Leagu 2023.
Each team will compete in a round-robin format, with the top four teams from this eight-team field moving to the playoffs and the top two advancing to the final.
The TNPL 2023 season will include some new features such as the DRS (Decision Review System) and an impact player rule similar to the IPL 2023.
How many teams are participating in TNPL 2023?
There will be as many as eight teams competing in the seventh edition of the T20 tournament are Chepauk Super Gillies, Dindigul Dragons, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, Lyca Kovai Kings, Nellai Royal Kings, Ruby Trichy Warriors, Salem Spartans, and Siechem Madurai Panthers.
What is the format of TNPL 2023?
Eight teams will compete against each other in a round-robin format. The top four teams will qualify for the TNPL 2023 playoffs, which will include Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the final.
The top two teams will compete in Qualifier 1, and the winner of that match will directly qualify for the finals. Teams finishing third and fourth after the league phase, on the other side, will face each other in the Eliminator format, similar to the IPL playoffs.
The victor of the Eliminator and the loser of Qualifier 1 will compete in Qualifier 2 for a spot in the final battle.
