Despite Opt. to bat first Sri Lanka made an incredible comeback against the West Indies after suffering consecutive blows in their WC campaign. They were almost knocked out of the competition, yet ‘The Lions’ roared back immediately to pose a challenging target for the Windies. Furthermore, SL bowling attack have also proven challenging on picking back-to-back wickets in crucial moments to build pressure on the WI.

The Windies, on the other hand, tried their hardest to tackle the big target, but it looked that it was too late to find the tempo. However, the Pollard-led side fell short for exceptional tactics from The Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka.
