Sophie Devine Becomes Full-Time New Zealand Women’s Team Captain

New Zealand cricket board has appointed all-rounder Sophie Devine as captain of women’s cricket team. Amy Satterthwaite will join as deputy once she returns from her maternity leave. Previously Amy Satterthwaite was the captain of the team. Last season, Devine lead the White Ferns and her extraordinary captainship led her to be the captain of the team on a full-time basis. Till now, she has appeared in 105 ODIs and 91 numbers of T20Is aggregating a total of 4954 runs and claimed 158 wickets for White Ferns.
