The stage is set for the first edition of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup, starting July 13.
The Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup will consist of 33 matches, beginning on July 13 and concluding on July 30. All matches of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup will be held at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
Double round robin play will be executed for the group stage, with each team facing the opposing side twice. The top four clubs in the standings after all league games will proceed to the semi-finals.
This tournament will provide young cricketers a chance to showcase their talent at a high level, and also promotes the sport in the region.
Harpreet Brar, Mandeep Singh, Nehal Wadhera, and Siddharth Kaul are among the famous names competing in the inaugural season of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup.

Six teams will be taking part in this edition of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup 2023.
Agri Kings Knights, BLV Blasters, Hampton Falcons, JK Super Strikers, Royal Phantoms and Trident Stallions are the six teams participating in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup.
What is the format of Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup?
The eight teams will compete in a double round-robin format for a total of 30 group stage matches, and 3 knockouts.
The competition will be contested in a double round-robin format, with each club playing the opposing team twice in the league stage, with the top four teams advancing to the knockouts. Both semi-finals will be played on July 28, with the final on July 30.
