Shafali Verma Shares Her Experience After T20 World Cup

During this tournament, if a player who shines for India, it is the young batting side opener named Shafali Verma. The Haryana player scored 163 runs from 15 innings. She is the fifth-highest run-getter in the World Cup and the highest run-scorer for the Indian team.

In a recent interview, the youngster revealed that she had received a huge welcome when she returned to her hometown, Rohtak after the T20 World Cup final. She said it was like a dream to her and she would cherish that moment forever.

“I will never forget my welcome at my home in Rohtak. There were dhols and music. My relatives embraced me with wands. I felt extraordinary.
