India has a good chance of winning the Twenty20 World Cup, according to Sachin Tendulkar

First Match OF T20 World Cup: IND vs PAK

At the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday, India and Pakistan will participate in a T20 World Cup match. Legendary former India star Sachin Tendulkar has endorsed India to defeat Pakistan (MCG). Tendulkar, a 2011 World Cup champion, has extensive experience facing Pakistan and believes India has a balanced team that might win the group game.

Indian Batting Firepower

Since India has so much firepower at their disposal, the former India opener believes they have a decent chance of winning the World Cup and defeating Pakistan. The likes of Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav are in top form, with the former hitting more than 800 runs in T20 Internationals in 2022 and the latter having his second-best T20 International calendar year.

Sachin’s Comments on Team India

“Yes, we stand a great opportunity. We have the right blend and a well-balanced team to go out and perform. In fact, Tendulkar told The Telegraph on Monday, “I am quite optimistic about our chances and going the distance.

“Of course, yes. India is in my heart, and I will always want them to triumph. I genuinely think we have the firepower to perform well under these circumstances, and this isn’t simply because I’m Indian.”

“Of course, I would like India to win, but India, Pakistan, Australia, and England would be my top four.” The underdogs are South Africa and New Zealand. From September through October, South Africans experience these circumstances at home. They are accustomed to such circumstances.

Tendulkar Concluded by saying

“Not having one of the best fast bowlers will obviously impact the team. Bumrah has always been someone who has been one of the prime players in the XI, a strike bowler, and a standout performer. But the positive thing is that the team has accepted this and moved on because you can’t get stuck by setbacks. His replacement, Mohammed Shami, is also experienced and capable, someone who has performed well in the past. He can be a worthy replacement and is already proving to be so.”
