Jadeja was the only batsman in the Indian camp who reached the three-figure mark and with his help, India has posted a total of 574 runs. He would have reached 200 but skipper Rohit Sharma has declared the innings.

There were many questions that were raised on innings declaration – People on Twitter have trolled Rahul Dravid by Remembering a similar situation where Dravid has declared the innings when Sachin was on 194.

One of the fans said – “Multan Test, 2004: India declared with Sachin on 194*. Dravid was the captain. Mohali Test, 2022: India declared with Jadeja on 175*. Dravid is the coach. No offense! #INDvSL”

Another fan stated – “Rohit Sharma should have let Jadeja score a double century, the way he was batting he deserved it. The good influence of Rahul Dravid, the same thing which he did to Sachin Tendulkar back then. #INDvsSL #therockstar #Jadeja #Dravid #RohithSharma”

Currently, Team India has a clear upper hand over the Sri Lanka side and they will look to win this 1st Test and showcase their dominance in the two-match test series.
