ABOUT THE MATCH
Bangladesh will start their year without the suspended star player Shakib-Al-Hasan with a T20I series away in India. The three-match series kicks off in Delhi, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, on November 3.
Bangladesh, who are also without Tamim Iqbal, will be led by Mahmudullah as they look to build on a successful home tri-nation series against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe. The series is a preparation for both teams ahead of the next year’s ICC T20 World Cup.
India, on the other hand, goes into this series without rested captain Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma leads the team instead of as they look to build on a 3-0 win against West Indies and 1-1 draw with South Africa in their last two T20i series.

- Bangladesh has been rocked by the news that the ICC has suspended Shakib-Al-Hasan for failing to report three corrupt approaches.
- The Tigers will be without their captain and star man for the next 12 months.

- Bangladesh comes into this series having most recently faced Afghanistan and Zimbabwe at home.

- Mahmudullah scored a half-century in a 39-run win against Zimbabwe, while Shakib-Al-Hasan hit 70* from 45 balls in a four-wicket win against Afghanistan. It meant Bangladesh topped the group.
