Shadab Khan Set To Be The Deputy Captain Of The Pakistan Team:

Pakistan’s limited-overs squad screened negative for Covid-19 for the series against Zimbabwe. As a few of their players tested positive for the deadly virus ahead of their England tour, this comes as a big relief for the home team. In Rawilpindi and Lahore, the limited-overs series will be played.

For the T20I and ODI series with Shadab Khan set to be the deputy captain, Pakistan mentioned a name of possibility. Young talents such as Musa Khan, Usman Qadir, and Zafar Gohar were also named in the probability list. In due course, the hosts are expected to reveal the final squad for the series.

According to a leading sports website report, ZC sent a five-person delegation to Pakistan to review the arrangements for the bio-secure bubble of the teams. After returning two negative Covid-19 tests within 48 hours of arrival in Islamabad, the delegation, consisting of two health officers, one security officer and two ZC executives, started their inter-city journey.
