Not Virender Sehwag! Who Scored Fastest Century In Test Cricket?

Virender Sehwag Surprisingly Failed To Achieve This Feat In Test cricket:

Virender Sehwag was one of the most aggressive batsmen ever in the world. The former opener of India finished his test career with 8586 runs, at a strike rate of 82.33. Sehwag struck the bowlers right from the ball and hit the ball harder to take away the shine.

Sehwag was shockingly failed to achieve this feat in Test. Once he is the quickest Indian to score one century in ODIs. This is the second place in the test of Indian batsman on the list of the quickest century.

Both scored centuries in 74 balls, Kapil Dev and Mohammad Azharuddin, sit at the top of India ‘s fastest centuries in Test list. But who’s in the tests overall with the fastest century record?

Brendon McCullum created history with the fastest cricket score of the fastest century, in the last international match of his career in 2016. McCullum struck the record of Sir Vic Richards and Misbah-ul-Haq for a century in 54 balls. The pair scored one century in 56 balls.

McCullum’s Record Is Still Untouched:

McCullum scored 145 runs off 79 balls.  The right-hand batsman struck 21 fours and sixes in his innings, batting with a strike rate of 183.54. In the second entrance, he only managed to score 25 runs.

In 2014, Australia rode on the fifties from Steve Smith and Joe Burns to cross the total and win the game by seven wickets. They also won two-Test Match Series 2-0. McCullum ‘s record remains intact for four years.

The 3rd place is Adam Gilchrist, who scored a century in 57 balls against England in 2006/2007. Jack Gregory (67 balls) and Shivnarine Chanderpaul (69 balls) will be followed by him on the elite list. Sehwag is on the 11th position in the overall list with the fastest century in 78 balls.
