Mohammad Hasnain is a Pakistani right-arm fast bowler who was the part of Pakistan squad for almost 2 years between 2019-2021. Mohammad Hasnain started off his domestic career at the very late age but got success in very less time in his career. In 2018, Mohammad Hasnain made his first-class debut in Quaid-e-Azam tournament for the Pakistan Television squad.

In February 2019, Mohammad Hasnain made his T20 Debut in the Pakistan Super League for the squad of Quetta Gladiators. Mohammad Hasnain made his mark with his raw pace and consistency with the ball and also registered the fastest ball of the tournament by delivering at the speed of 151km/hour in a match against Islamabad.

Mohammad Hasnain is the first pace bowler to play for Pakistan from Hyderabad. In the final match of the PSL tournament, Mohammad Hasnain is awarded with Man of the match for picking up 3 wickets in the finals.

Mohammad Hasnain was then included in the squad of Sindh for the Pakistan Cup and then in Quaid-e-Azam trophy tournament in year 2019.

Mohammad Hasnain bowled a delivery at 155.1 km/hour in Caribbean Premier League in 2019 playing for Tribago Knight Riders and registered the fastest delivery of the league.

Recently in June 2022, Mohammad Hasnain was roped in by Worcestershire County club to play the English domestic season.

Mohammad Hasnain made his International debut for Pakistan on 24 March 2019 when he was picked up in an ODI match against Australia. Hasnain took 1 wicket in the match.

Mohammad Hasnain was also included in the World Cup squad of Pakistan in 2019. However, he didn’t play any match in the tournament and warmed the bench.

A month later, Mohammad Hasnain was picked up in the T20I squad and made his debut in T20Is against Sri Lanka at the age of just 19 years in May, 2019 and became the youngest bowler for Pakistan to debut in T20Is. In October, Mohammad Hasnain took his maiden hat-trick in T20Is becoming second youngest Pakistani bowler to take a hat-trick in T20Is.

Mohammad Hasnain was roped in the squad of Pakistan for the England tour in 2020. However, he turned Covid positive and missed the tour along with his 7 teammates.

Hasnain made a remarkable comeback in November 2020 in an ODI match against Zimbabwe and took his maiden 5-wicket haul of the career.

Mohammad Hasnain was also included in the Pakistan squad for the ICC T20 World Cup back in 2021.

Mohammad Hasnain suffered a huge setback in February 2022 when he was suspended from bowling due to the illegal bowling action by International Cricket Council. However, few month later in June 2022, he was cleared on his bowling action.

Recently, In August 2022, Mohammad Hasnain is included in the Pakistan squad for the Asia Cup in UAE as a replacement for Shaheen Afridi who got injured before the tournament.
