Mohammad Kaif:1983 World Cup win a ‘watershed’ moment in Indian cricket

On 25th June, 1983- India won its first ICC World Cup trophy by defeating West Indies at Lord’s. After 37 years, former cricket player Mohammad Kaif has defined that the victory in the final of the ICC World Cup was a watershed moment in the Indian cricket history. In his official twitter handle, Kaif shared the image of Kapil Dev lifting the trophy of ICC World Cup and said that the win at the massive tournament more than three-decade ago transformed the face of Indian cricket. Mohammad Kaif also believes that the win had encouraged many generations to dream big and achieve the impossible.
