He also said it’s rare for a fast bowler to keep fit and show how tall Ishant can be – especially in the game’s longest format. “Great achievement in modern cricket to keep your body as it has and play 100 tests, it’s rare, especially among fast bowlers,” said Kohli. The India star breached the 300-wicket mark during the second Test in Chennai. Ishant has also played 80 ODIs and 14 T20Is so far, taking a total of 123 wickets.
India and England go into the third Test with the series tied at 1-1 and with a place in the World Test Championship final on the line. 3rd Test match starts tomorrow at 2:30 pm which is a day/night test match.
