The contest between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians is on and it has gotten all of us excited. After winning the toss, Mumbai decided to field first. Even though LSG did not look their best in the first 10 overs, the table turned pretty quickly as KL hit the accelerator scoring his 2nd ton of the tournament. At the end of the first innings, Lucknow’s score is 168 for 6. They have given a chase of 169 runs for Mumbai to win.

During the death overs, KL Rahul single-handedly moved Lucknow’s innings giving a good fight to MI bowlers. Along with his partner, he scored 32 runs. The batting managed to hit more boundaries. 

In the last five overs, Lucknow managed to score 52 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. The highest partnership of the innings was between KL Rahul and Manish Pandey who contributed 58 runs to the innings.

Jasprit Bumrah bowled the 17th over of the game where he gave away 10 runs. No wickets came in this over.  A total of 15 runs came off the 18th over of the innings bowled by Unadkat who got hit for 3 consecutive fours.  

The 19th over of the innings was bowled by Bumrah who kept things tight, conceding just 4 runs.  The 20th over of the innings was bowled by Meridith and it was an expensive one. LSG batters hit 2 sixes to ensure 13 runs came off the over.

The run rate at the end of 20 overs is 8.40. K L Rahul scored the highest number of 103 runs by hitting 4 sixes and 12 fours at a strike rate of 166.62.
