SRH vs LSG IPL 2025 ticket refund details

The Indian Premier League 2025 has come to an unexpected pause, with the BCCI officially suspending the tournament for a week due to rising cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan. So let’s look at SRH vs LSG IPL 2025 ticket refund details.

As a result of the suspension, two key matches, Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been called off. These games were originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow and the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, respectively.

Following the announcement, both SRH and LSG have initiated the ticket refund process for the cancelled home matches. SRH confirmed the news via their official account on ‘X’, stating that refunds would be processed shortly. LSG, on the other hand, addressed fans through Instagram, assuring that all details related to refunds would be shared soon.

The security situation also impacted Thursday’s match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala, which had to be called off after just 10.1 overs. The closure of key northern airports complicated the evacuation of players, officials, and broadcasters, prompting a coordinated effort by the BCCI. Personnel were transported by a special train to Delhi as per media reports.

With 58 matches completed, IPL 2025 now stands temporarily suspended with 12 league-stage games remaining, followed by the playoffs. The BCCI has not yet announced the revised schedule but is expected to release details once the situation stabilizes.

As many as seven teams remain in the playoff race. Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings are best positioned with 16, 16, and 15 points, respectively. Mumbai Indians (14 pts) and Delhi Capitals (13 pts) are strong contenders, with Mumbai having the best net run-rate (+1.156). KKR (11 pts) and LSG (10 pts) are outside hopefuls but need big wins and favorable results. SRH, RR, and CSK are eliminated. Gujarat and RCB are nearly assured of playoff spots based on their points and NRR.
