IPL 2020 | RCB vs MI: RCB Triumph Over MI In Super Over In A Dramatic Way


In the 1st innings of RCB Vs MI, RCB scored 201 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in the 10th match of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL). AB de Villers of RCB was the star of the show and knocked magnificently fifty, stayed unbeaten 55 runs off 24 deliveries with 4 boundaries and 4 sixes.

In the second innings, MI captain Rohit Sharma caught by Washington Sundar, and Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed by Isuru Udana as RCB got two important wickets very early in their defense of 2011 runs. Quinton de Kock struggled a lot and managed to score only 14 runs in 15 balls and then holed out to Negi off Chahal as Mumbai Indians lost its third wicket.

After the dismissal of Hardik Pandya (15), Mumbai Indians had been trying very hard to get out from the hold that RCB had out on them with the ball, and Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard did it when it mattered the most. Ishan Kishan played stunningly for 99 runs off 58 deliveries and Kieron Pollard finished the innings unbeaten on 60 runs off 24 deliveries and finished the innings by sensational six.

It was a tie as Mumbai Indians finished on 201 runs with the loss of 5 wickets as much as RCB got in their 1st innings. Mumbai Indians could manage to earn only 7 runs in the Super Over, bowled by Navdeep Saini and Virat Kohli knocked a spectacular boundary off the final ball of the match, which was bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, to etch a victory over defending champions, Mumbai Indians.
