BCCI Pushing Cricket to next level, Proposal for Construction of Indoor Cricket Training Facility

BCCI announces the release of Request for Proposal for Construction of Indoor Cricket Training Facility at Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland Sikkim, and Annual Maintenance

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announces the release of the Request for Proposal for Construction of Indoor Cricket Training Facility at Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland Sikkim, and Annual Maintenance.

The BCCI invites bids from reputed entities for providing construction services of Indoor Cricket Training Facilities at Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland Sikkim, and annual maintenance, through a tender process.

The detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process including eligibility requirements, process for submissions of bids, rights, and obligations, etc. are contained in the ‘Request for Proposal’ (“RFP”) which will be made available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 2,00,000 (Indian Rupees Two Lakhs Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax. The procedure to procure the RFP documents is enlisted in Annexure A to this notice. The RFP will be available for purchase till 8th January, 2023.

Any interested party wishing to submit a bid required to purchase the RFP. However, only those satisfying the eligibility criteria set out in the RFP and subject to the other terms and conditions set out therein, shall be eligible to bid. It is clarified that merely purchasing the RFP does not entitle any person to bid.

BCCI reserves the right to cancel or amend the bidding process at any stage in any manner without providing any reason.

Also, New NCA Building: Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, provided an upbeat report on the brand-new National Cricket Academy. The site at Bengaluru actively being worked on. The present NCA housed in Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium and thought to be smaller. The new complex, which has 40 practise fields and a 16,000 square foot gym. The project will occupy a 45-acre plot of land.

  • 16,000 sqft gym with the latest equipment.
  • An all-Indian players’ rehab centre.
  • 40 practice pitches with 20 having floodlight facility.
  • 243 rooms for players, a creche for cricketers’ children.
  • Open-air theatre, temperature-control pool, and indoor training facilities.
  • Three grounds could host domestic matches.
