IND vs ENG: Cricketers Are Totally In Awe Of The Motera Stadium

The Test series between India and England is nicely poised with a win each to the two teams. The third and the fourth Test match is scheduled to take place at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. It has the capacity to seat 110,000 fans. Hence even if the BCCI decides to allow a 50% capacity crowd, it means 55,000 fans will be thronging the stadium.

This kind of capacity is larger than many of the full stadiums in the world. The sweeping landscape, the design adds to the beauty of the stadium.

England cricketers can’t get enough of the Motera Stadium:

There will be an electric . English all-rounder took to Twitter to express his awe and shock at playing in such a beautiful stadium. Stokes retweeted a post shared by the official handle of English cricket. The post stated, “Some stadium this is…. And a bit of local music to help get through to the end.” Ben Stokes will surely be itching to put on a show at the grand Motera.

England pacer, Stuart Broad too wasn’t far behind in waxing eloquent about the Motera Stadium. He shared a panoramic view of the stadium in his post. He captioned his post saying, “1st look at cricket’s largest stadium, 110,000 capacity pretty impressive.”

The Indian cricketers too joined the race:

The Indian cricketers too couldn’t resist sharing the grandeur of the stadium just like their English counterparts. Indian team’s wicketkeeper-batsman, Rishabh Pant put out a tweet saying, “Fantastic to be at this new facility in Motera, great to see such world-class facilities for cricket in Ahmedabad. Looking forward to taking the field there on 24th.”

All-rounder Hardik Pandya was taken aback by the amenities in store at the new Motera Stadium. He shared a post admiring the gym facilities set up in the stadium. Pandya believes the gym set up has surpassed all expectations.

It promises to be a thrilling finale:

The venue promises to be a stunner and the fans will be hoping that the Indian team puts on quite a show at the newly designed Motera Stadium. The 3rd Test match is scheduled to be played under lights as it is a pink-ball Test. It is definitely going to be a big spectacle.
