IND vs ENG 4th Test Highlights 2024

On the 4th day of the IND vs ENG Test, India started well with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal on the crease. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma led India to 40/0 at Ranchi’s stumps, needing 152 more to win. Earlier, in the third innings, India bowled England out for 145 runs. With five wickets in his impressive stint, Ashwin was bowling. Apart from him, Kuldeep Yadav also contributed four wickets. With 60 runs, Zack Crawley led England in scoring.

In the fourth Test of the five-match series, India defeated England by five wickets on Monday in Ranchi thanks to a solid combination between Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel.

India made a fantastic start to their 192-run chase with to 37 and 55 from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma, respectively. Nevertheless, India lost wickets quickly after, but Gill’s fifty-two and Jurel’s thirty-nine combined to forge an unbroken partnership and win the game for their team.

Shoaib Bashir took three wickets for England. India’s unassailable 3-1 lead over England in the five-match series has increased with this victory. Since the Bazball era, this is England’s first Test series defeat.

In the fourth Test match against England on Monday, India pulled off a nail-biting comeback to win by five wickets and take a commanding 3-1 lead in the five-match series.

India easily reached 84 runs without losing as they pursued a modest 192 for victory. However, the English spinners produced a collapse that left the hosts reeling at 120-5.

On the penultimate day of the match, Shubman Gill (52) and Dhruv Jurel (39) had an uninterrupted partnership of 72 for the sixth wicket, sealing India’s triumph.

The Dharamshala Cricket Stadium will host the fifth and final Test match on March 7, 2024
