Hardik Pandya: What a comeback!!

In the last few months, Hardik Pandya has struggled with serious lower-back injuries. Previously, he played for the national team of India in 2019 September in a T20I against South Africa. After that match, he went for surgery. During the New Zealand tour of India, he didn’t get back to full fitness. So, couldn’t join the team. But now he has already made headlines for his outstanding batting performance in the DY Patil T20 Cup in Mumbai.

He is playing for Reliance 1 along with Shikhar Dhawan and Bhubaneshwar Kumar in this tournament. Pandya’s comeback was outstanding where he hit 38 runs in just 25 deliveries. Along with batting, also he picked three wickets. On Tuesday, he went one step further and smashed a sparkling century.

Against CAG, when Hardik Pandya came to bat in the fourth position, he became crazy at her batting style. After five overs Reliance 1 scored 45 runs with the loss of 2 wickets. And when he came to bat, he turned the match completely with his berserk batting.

To control the situation, he took some deliveries but after some time he spellbound the visitors with his amazing century off only 37 balls. Also, he achieved the three-figure mark with a huge six off a pace bowler who gave a length ball.

After his outstanding century, the all-rounder got out by scoring 105 runs in just 39 balls. In the innings, his strike rate was 269.23, which is the best in the whole tournament. His whole innings consists of 10 great maximums and 8 fours. With the help of his century and Anmolpreet Singh’s 88 runs, Reliance 1 managed to set 252 runs for the loss of five wickets after 20 overs.

From the sparkling performance of Hardik Pandya, it has no doubt that now he is completely fit and comes back to the national team very soon.
