Not so long ago, Suryakumar Yadav stood tall and refused to back down in front of the majestic figure of Indian skipper Virat Kohli during MI’s Dream11 IPL 2020 clash against RCB. The Surya-Virat incident took the internet by the storm as an uncapped player got the better of India’s best player in the end.

Suryakumar was tipped to get his maiden international call but to everyone’s surprise, he was snubbed by the BCCI selectors despite his fine form in T20 format for MI. Suryakumar hammered a total of 480 runs in 16 innings for Mumbai Indians in Dream11 IPL 2020. The Mumbai-based cricketer was a key factor in MI’s sixth IPL trophy hunt.
