After Completing Three Months As BCCI Chief, Ganguly’s Statements on Tendulkar, Dravid, And Kumble:
Ganguly was one of the best captains of the Indian cricket team and his role as the BCCI chief has also begun similarly. Ganguly, who was chosen as the 39th leader of BCCI in October, quickly got a move on to host India’s first Day-Night Test in November. He also proposed a four-country competition with England and Australian boards later on.
The center of the team that Ganguly captained was shaped by Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble and him. Is it a similar case even in BCCI now?
After finishing three months as the BCCI head, when posed about the Tendulkar, Dravid, and Kumble of his BCCI team, Ganguly was quoted By ABP News as saying, “Sare hai (Everyone is there), Jay (Shah) is there, Arun (Dhumal) is there, we as a whole work together.”
“It’s extremely hard to state who is Tendulkar, Dravid or Kumble. We are excellent companions and we as a whole originate from various foundations. Arun runs a school, Jay has his own business and I have a cricket foundation,” added Ganguly.
Both Jay Shah (BCCI secretary) and Arun Dhumal (BCCI treasurer) were also appointed along with him. The fourth colleague Jayesh Geroge, was named the joint secretary of BCCI.
Ganguly added featured that the BCCI’s first priority was to remove it from the dismal state it ended up being in the previous 3 years.
Ganguly Wants To Improve Indian Cricket:
When requested to rate his residency in the BCCI up until now, Ganguly stated, “It’s hard to give marks this way. As I stated, it is imperative to run cricket well, it the correct way.”
