Kohli’s Hundred Builds The Score Of India Lead To 183

The regular skipper of Team India Virat Kohli played his Captaincy innings during the first session of the second day. He is one of the great players on the international level. In his captaincy, India won so many matches. When Kohli stepped into cricket he first played for Delhi under-15 team in October 2002 in the 2002-03 Polly Umrigar Trophy. He became the captain of the team for the 2003-04 Polly Umrigar Trophy and scored 390 runs in five innings. After that time to time represented himself in different matches. There were so many occasions where he showed his potential.

Nowadays he is served as one of the super and star players in the world. In the present running match against Bangladesh in the first session of the second day Kohli registered his 27th Test century. The day had started with the figure where India having a 68-run advantage and was struggling to get many more. At the time of lunch that leads had swelled by the runs of 115 more.

Kohli, who shifted in the session from 59 to 130*, highlighted India’s dominance at one point off Abu Jayed with four back-to-back boundaries.

And in the early part of the session, Ajinkya Rahane, his overnight partner, who won his 7th fifty in the World Test Championship, matched him shot-for-shot.

The only bowler who threatened to take wickets was left-arm spinner Taijul Islam, who had a few spinning past Kohli’s bat and then caught Rahane from a spot cut.

But the dominance of Kohli only grew at the other end when he crossed his hundred, bringing India’s lead to a massive 183.
