Do or die match for Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh, Who will win?

Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh Match: Four matches have been played as of now and only 2 two teams have booked their spot in the Super 4 (Playoffs), today in the fifth match of the Asia cup Sri Lanka will face off Bangladesh in Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 7:30 pm IST.

This will be a do-or-die match for both teams as both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are coming back from a defeat against Afghanistan. Both the teams will try to give their best and battle out to qualify for the super 4.

The Dubai cricket pitch is not that easy to score runs as the teams are struggling to put up a decent total on the scoreboard but yesterday India proved that runs can be gained only if the batsman plays through the line, something similar could be expected in the fifth match against Bangladesh & Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh Match: Who Will Win?

Predicted playing XI of Bangladesh: Shakib Al Hasan (c), Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mohammad Naim, Anamul Haque, Afif Hossain, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Mahedi Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed.

Predicted playing XI of Sri Lanka: Dasun Shanaka (c), Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (wk), Charith Asalanka, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Danushka Gunathilaka,
Chamika Karunaratne, Wanindu Hasaranga, Matheesha Pathirana, Dilshan Madushanka, Maheesh Theekshana.

There were even heated arguments happening between the Sri Lankan skipper and Bangladesh members, the whole topic started when the Sri Lankan skipper after the loss against Afghanistan told in a statement that “Afghanistan has a world-class bowling attack. We know Fizz is a good bowler. Shakib is a world-class bowler. But apart from them, there is no world-class bowler on the side. So if we compare with Afghanistan, Bangladesh is an easier opponent.”

After this statement former Bangladesh cricketer Mahmud replied saying “He says other things as well. He said we have only two bowlers or something, no? I don’t see any bowlers in Sri Lanka as well, at least Bangladesh has two, that’s very good. We have Mustafizur and Shakib. I don’t think they have world-class bowlers like Mustafizur and Shakib as well.”

Even though Bangladesh has popular names in their squad, it is more likely that Sri Lanka will come out as winners and will proceed to the next round of the tournament super 4.
