Disappointed With ODI World Cup Postponement-Meg Lanning

Australian skipper Meg Lanning is looking forward to the “big year” of 2022, as four major tournaments are planned for the same year, including two World Cups. The events will include the rescheduled ODI World Cup, the T20 World Cup, the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and the Women’s Ashes. Originally scheduled for February-March next year in New Zealand, the ODI World Cup was recently postponed until 2022 due to coronavirus effects. “There is no question that we were not upset that the World Cup was moved back by a year,” Lanning said to the leading sports website.
