Dhoni Goes Underground When Not In Action : Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma And Harbajan Singh On MS Dhoni:

On Thursday, Rohit Sharma was part of a live Instagram session with Harbhajan Singh. The duo discussed the situation of MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper, who wasall set to mark his return to cricket via IPL during the chat. The Indian opener also hilariously said the fans should directly confront Dhoni on this rather than giving air to debates.

The name of the 38-year-old former Indian skipper is currently in the spotlight and the fans want to see theirfavorite player back on the field who played his last World Cup game against New Zealand in the semi-finals in 2019.He was all set to playIPL 2020 for Chennai Super Kings, which unfortunately got postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. Not only this, his attempt to make a quick comeback however went in vain as BCCI postponed the T20 tournament for an unspecified time due to COVID-19 pandemic. He moved back to his home in Ranchi afterwards. And he has enjoyed spending quality time with his family while in quarantine.

Rohit Sharma took a funny jibe at fans during the live Instagram session to show off their curiosity about MS Dhoni’s future. The 32-year-old said that when he’s not playing cricket the former Indian skipper vanishes from the public domain.

According to him, if anyone wants to learn about Dhoni then they should travel directly to his house. He also added that currently, owing to the ongoing lockdown in the region, no one can travel to his home. But once it’s over, everyone can go and ask Dhoni in the near future about what he’s going to do.

The Indian opener recited in July that the 38-year-old was played his last game in the 2019 world cup in semi final against New Zealand. Since then, he hasn’t heard any news about him and he has no idea when he will be retiring.

“When MS Dhoni is not playing cricket, he goes out of radar. He goes underground. Whoever wants to know, you can directly go to him, you know he stays in Ranchi. You can’t go now but after the lockdown, you take a car, bike or flight go to his place and ask him ‘What are you going to do? Will you play or not?’. We don’t know what’s happening with him. We haven’t heard any news about him. The last match of the World Cup was in July. From there, till now we haven’t heard anything I have no idea,” Rohit Sharma said.
