CSK Won the Toss elected to Bat First Against MI

It was expected that CSK would start their innings high – but unfortunately, it went the other way. Wickets were started tumbling as the MI start bowler Boult picked the 1st wicket of Faf du Plessis. And after his wicket, Ali and Rayudu had to depart for a duck.

Even the main guns Raina and skipper Dhoni had to depart for a single-digit. Now it was all on the standing batsmen’s Gaikwad and Jadeja. Both the players have stood strong and steadily built the score for their franchise.

At the start of the 1st innings, fans have expected that CSK would end up below 100 – But after the heroics from Gaikwad, CSK have managed to post a challenging post of 156-6 in 20 overs.

Despite the absence of Rohit and Hardik – MI had a very strong batting line-up and it was expected that they would easily chase the total. But CSK has made a great comeback – Their mainstream bowlers Hazlewood and Thakur picked a wicket each.

Bravo has picked the 3 wickets of Ishan Kishan, Milne, Chahar, and Chahar have picked up 2 wickets. It was absolutely a pure class performance from the CSK fielders and their bowling unit.
