Rohit Sharma wants to overcome little errors ahead of Asia Cup 2022

In the busy schedule, team India managed to maintain their dominance in world cricket. First by beating England in England in the limited-over series and then defeating West Indies at their zone.

However, despite these brilliant outing on tough tours, team India’s skipper Rohit Sharma want some improvements in all department by keeping in mind the two big tournaments, Asia Cup 2022 and ICC cricket World Cup 2022.

Whenever a new tournament going to start, everyone predicts about India is the favorite to win the event. Although, India last won a big ICC event in 2013, ICC Champions Trophy under MS Dhoni. Since then they have reached 3 semi-finals in ICC world cups, 2 in 50-over and 1 in the 20-over format.

While they lost the final of the inaugural ICC Test Championship in 2021.

Keeping in mind all the aspects, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma wants to make sure that this time there will no room for errors as they prepare for the upcoming two big events.

After beating West Indies in a T20 series, Rohit stated that little effort from all of us can provide us results consistently.

What did Rohit Sharma say after winning the T20I series against West Indies?

“It takes a lot to change your game, it takes a lot to get into a different mindset, it takes a lot to understand what the team requires at every point of time. For me individual brilliance is good but those little efforts from all of us will give us more results consistently and that is what we are looking for.”

With Asia Cup 2022 is just around the corner, Rohit Sharma is making sure to overcome little errors in between team India and the trophy.

The last time Asia Cup was held in 2018, which India won by defeating Bangladesh in the final by 3 wickets in a 50-over format.

Yesterday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian squad for the Asia Cup which sees the former captain Virat Kohli and reliable opener KL Rahul back in squad.
