ENG Vs SA 2nd ODI, South Africa Tour of England 2022, ENG Vs SA Dream 11 Prediction

At Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, the second and most important ODI of the bilateral series will pit England (ENG) against South Africa (SA). South Africa had outstanding performances in both areas during the first game of the series, winning by 62 runs. Rassie van der Dussen and Anrich Nortje’s contributions were crucial to the Proteas’ victory.

However, Ben Stokes won’t be available for England in this match, and Phil Salt is more than likely to make the starting lineup. To tie the series, the side will need players like Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow, while the bowlers must limit the runs.

Pitch Report

Manchester’s pitch is excellent, and the batters will undoubtedly be rewarded for using their natural technique. If the fast bowlers don’t get some early wickets, it’ll be another run-fest. The team batting first will need to score more than 275 to win the match.

Both teams’ opening combinations include explosive opening pairs. However, England struggled against India in the just concluded series and it continued in their first ODI against SA as well. The outcome of the series will depend on how well they play in the second ODI. The team batting first can arguably score 60+ runs in the powerplay.

Death Over scores:

The England team will be able to score 75–80 runs in the final ten overs since they have a lot of power hitters in their lineup. On the other hand, South Africa may score 70–75 runs if they get going.

Who will win Today’s match between ENG Vs SA?

England must try to bounce back in the second ODI as they lost the first one comprehensively. They just had a bad day and it will be important that they don’t lose more matches. ENG Vs SA Dream Prediction:

In the first ODI, the former English captain scored 86 out of 77 runs, signalling his return to form in white-ball cricket. Similarly SA’s Van de Dussen scored 134 off 117 to assist the Proteas put up a good total and win the game. They are again expected to play well.

Moein Ali who is also useful with the ball, has been a major force in the English middle order. He only grabbed one wicket in the first game, but he would like to bat better going forward and we can expect him taking more responsibility.

Other key players will be Bairstow, de Kock and Anrich Nortje.
