Perth Scorchers are second in the list with similar wins to Brisbane, but they have lost 2 games and ended the group stage with 15 points as compared to Heat’s 16.
Sydney Sixers, who played their last group stage game against Perth, had the chance to finish in second if they managed to win that game, but that didn’t happen, and they had to settle for a third spot.
While fourth in the list is Adelaide Strikers, who with 5 wins in 10 games, got the chance to book the final berth to the playoffs.
