BAN vs UAE 2nd T20I: After claiming a win in the first T20I over UAE, team Bangladesh will now look to complete a clean sweep when they walk into the field on Tuesday to play the second match of the series at the Dubai International Stadium.
This is a two-match series between the Bangla Tigers and the UAE side, and both teams are trying to in-line their playing combination for the T20 World Cup next month in Australia.
The first game of the series was a bit of a thriller on its own. Bangladesh after putting 158 on board in their 20 overs managed to win the match by just a 7-run margin.
Afif Hossain played an unbeaten knock of 77 runs off just 55 deliveries for his side. Hossain’s knock included seven fours and three maximums.
Apart from him skipper Nurul Hasan played a crucial knock during the last stages of the Bangladesh’s innings to guide his side to 158 for 5 in 20 overs.
In reply, UAE put on a good show but missed the chance of winning the game by 7 runs.
Bangladesh will have to play a tri-series alongside New Zealand and Pakistan before they fly to Australia for the marquee event.
