2020 IPL: KXIP VS RCB: Supreme finish for RCB with 171/6!

In the 31st match of the Indian Premier League, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) is playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. This match is the 200th match of Virat Kohli for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

RCB is continuing with the same team that registered a triumph against KKR in the last league match. On the other hand, KXIP has changed three things. In the squad, Prabhsimran Singh, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Mandeep Singh are replaced by  Deepak Hooda, Murugan Ashwin, and Chris Gayle.

Let’s continue with the 1st innings:

 Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat first. In the 1st delivery of 4th over, Arshdeep struck and Devdutt Padikkal departed for 18 off 12. Then Aaron Finch departed by Murugan Ashwin after scoring 20 runs with the help of 1 six and 2 boundaries off 18 deliveries. Murugan took another wicket of Washington Sunder, out caught by Jordan!! After 10 overs, RCB 88/3.

Jordan got his 1st wicket of this season in the name of Shivam Dube (23). So far, he had a tough time but his work turned tonight. A huge wicket for KXIP In the 17th over and that was of AB de Villers, dismissed by Shami. After two deliveries, Shami took another crucial wicket of captain Kohli, caught by KL Rahul. In the same over, Kohli and de Villers went back to the pavilion.

 RCB were six down, with Isuru Udana and Chris Morris at the crease. Finally over was a costly one for KXIP as Udana and Morris ended the innings by scoring 10 and 25 respectively.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 171 runs with the loss of 6 wickets!!
