Yuvraj Singh Trolls Kevin Pietersen In A Funny Way

Yuvraj Singh Described As A “pie-chucker”:

In 2008, England cricketer Kevin Pietersen had described Yuvraj Singh as a “pie-chucker,” thereby mocking the Indian all-rounder’s bowling. As a reply to the mockery, Yuvraj went on to list the occasions he had brought the England batsman out and said that Pietersen was incapable of developing his bowling skills, as he could only bat and not do anything.

Quick forward over a decade Kevin Pietersen‘s feathers start to ruffle at Yuvraj. The former England star took to Instagram and posted his masterful switch’s England cricket video taken at Scott Styris from New Zealand and captioned it, “Just play with pies.”

Yuvraj went on to comment on the post fast enough, mocking the England cricketer hilariously.

The Duo Shared A Good Bond Off The Field:

“And even often u slip on those pies,” Yuvraj wrote with an emoji ‘laughing.’

The two players established a strong relationship off the field after the back-and-forth in 2008 with two of the biggest stars in cricket.

Kevin Pietersen had hosted the Indian cricketer at his Gurgaon home in 2012 after Yuvraj had moved to the United States after receiving cancer care.

Pietersen had tweeted after meeting Yuvraj, “Good to catch up with the pie chucker ….”

In 2019, Yuvraj, once an Indian cricket poster child, pulled the curtain down on his international career spanning approximately 19 years and over 400 matches.

Yuvraj played 40 Test matches with a total of 33.92 (3 hundred and 11 50s) earning 1900 runs. His best Test score of 169 came in 2007 at Bengaluru versus Pakistan.

A big 304 ODIs was where Yuvraj indeed performed, scoring 8701 runs with 14 centuries and 42 fifties on average at 36.55. His best result was 150 at Cuttack in 2017, against England.

He was also a T20I hero, playing 58 matches to score 1177 runs with an outstanding strike rate of 136.38, with the highest score of 77 not out at Rajkot in 2013 as against Australia.
