Wriddhiman Saha Slams BCCI – Exposes Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly

Wriddhiman Saha is now the talk of the town, after giving a few shocking statements against BCCI, especially on Sourav Ganguly and Indian team Head Coach Rahul Dravid. Earlier Indian selection committee which was led by Mr. Chetan Sharma has given the official list of T20 and Test Squad for the upcoming series. Here its the More details about why Wriddhiman Saha Slams BCCI.

In that list, Saha’s name was missing and after hearing the news he was clearly not happy with how BCCI is operating players. It was even very shocking to hear few senior players like Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara , and Ishant Sharma were also missing from the list.

Chetan Sharma has stated that he requested all the four players to play the Ranji Trophy – But they have denied it. And from the selector’s point of view, each player’s selection criteria will be mainly based upon their performance in the domestic circuit.

So keeping all these things in consideration they have not selected all 4 players. Even Saha has not played a Ranji Game and Well to be very precise he has opted out of Ranji Trophy 2022.

When the chief selector Chetan Sharma was asked about why Saha was dropped he replied – “I can’t tell you on what grounds he (Saha) has been dropped. It is for the selectors. All I can tell you is that he was told before.”

In a recent interview, Saha said – “Yes, the team management told me that I would not be considered henceforth. I could not tell this so long as I was part of the India team setup.”

He has further stated – “Even coach Rahul Dravid suggested that I think about taking retirement,”

He has also stated “When I hit an unbeaten 61 taking a painkiller in the first Test against New Zealand in Kanpur last November, Dadi (as Sourav Ganguly was referred to by Bengal players) congratulated me over Whatsapp. He even mentioned that I should not worry about anything as long as he is at the helm of the BCCI. Such a message from the board President really boosted my confidence. But I failed to understand why everything changed so fast,”
